During WWII Tillie was an integral component of the Army Air Force at Tuskegee. She applied to the WASP program to be one of the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots after the end of the war and qualified easily. With Earth's entrance into the Galactic Council of Worlds, she was soon promoted to the Space Ace Program and shipped out to train rocket troops at the Galactic Defense Force base on Orton V.
